SITE READINESS FOR KITCHEN INSTALLATION

At NexGen , we believe that the kitchen is the heart of the home. That's why we are committed to delivering exceptional benchtops that transform your space into a beautiful, functional, and inviting area. Our talented team will work closely with you to bring your vision to life. 

Before one of our qualified professionals visits your home to measure up - it is important to be aware of the below 

1. Maximum length of bench without a join is 3200 mm ( Subject to site assessment )
2. Joins in stone benchtops are at stonemason's discretion.  
3. Any change of direction ( L Shape ) would need a join.
4. Maximum overhang without additional support is 300 mm.

• All Cabinetry must be installed including end panels. Secured & level.
• Cabinetry level tolerances is maximum 3mm over 3 meters continuous run.
• Walls plastered and prepared.
• Any item to be fitted into the benchtop must on site and be in position, however not connected. Example if replacing your cooktop & Sink , the new cooktop and sink must be onsite. 
• When replacing an existing bench top, the old benchtop must be removed before measure.
• The customer or an adult decision maker needs to be onsite to confirm all details of the intended benchtops.
• If purchasing a 40mm benchtop, a full substrate needs to be installed. See Substrate Section on how to install a substrate.

• Complete all works as discussed during site assessment to ensure there are no delays during installation.
• DO NOT BOOK any post bench installation trades ( plumbers / electricians ) until your benchtops are fully installed to your satisfaction. In an unlikely event of delays in completing you benchtop installation , Petra Global or any of its subcontractors will not be responsible for any costs associated with rebooking these trades.
• On the day of installation , allow clear & easy access to our installation team. Pets & children must be kept away while our installation crews are onsite. 

• The customer will be asked to sign a completion statement at the end of installation. You will have an opportunity to provide any feedback that you may have regarding the installation.
• The installers will leave the site clean & tidy.
• Do not touch the benches for 24 hours post installation. This allows the glue to cure properly.
• Once the installation is completed to your satisfaction , you can book your post installation trades if you are not getting a splashback from Petra Global.
• If your are also getting a splashback through Petra Global , you will hear from us within 24 hours of job completion to book your splashback measure. Please do not book any trades ( Including plumbers / electricians) until we complete a site assessment for splashback. Please discuss with the splashback measurer if appliances can be connected before the splashback is installed.
